Anti-CBX2 Antibody

Produced in rabbit as an unconjugated polyclonal IgG reagent, this Antibodies.com antibody specifically recognizes human chromobox protein homolog 2 (CBX2), a chromodomain-containing subunit of Polycomb Repressive Complex 1 (PRC1) that reads the H3K27me3 mark to drive chromatin compaction and gene silencing. The reagent is supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal IgG, validated for western blot detection of the approximately 70 kDa nuclear CBX2 protein in human cell lysates and tissue homogenates.

CBX2 plays documented roles in sex-body formation during spermatogenesis, maintenance of hematopoietic and leukemic stem cell populations, and transcriptional silencing through PRC1.
