Anti-CBX1 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting CBX1, also known as HP1 beta, supplied by Antibodies.com. The unconjugated IgG reagent is raised in rabbit, reacts with human samples, and is validated for Western blot (WB). Applications listed include WB and IHC. The antibody is provided as a liquid preparation and has been affinity purified.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 1–100 of human HP1 beta/CBX1 (NP_006798.1). The target protein has a molecular weight of 21 kDa. The formulation is Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300. Antibody concentration is lot specific.

For Western blot, the recommended dilution range is 1:500–1:1,000. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided.
