CBR1 (carbonyl reductase 1) is an NADPH-dependent cytosolic enzyme belonging to the short-chain dehydrogenase/reductase superfamily that catalyzes the reduction of carbonyl-containing xenobiotics, steroids, prostaglandins, and several chemotherapeutic agents. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of reagent validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples.
Researchers apply this reagent to investigate CBR1 expression in tissues and cell lines, drug-metabolizing capacity in hepatic and extrahepatic tissues, and the contribution of carbonyl reductase activity to chemoresistance and inflammatory signaling. Store refrigerated at 4°C; aliquot to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve binding activity. For research use only.
