Anti-Cbl (S668) Antibody

Raised in rabbit and reactive with the region surrounding residue S668 of the Cbl proto-oncogene, this polyclonal reagent recognizes an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that mediates downregulation of activated receptor tyrosine kinases and modulates downstream signaling through the PI3K and MAPK pathways. Phosphorylation of Cbl at S668 influences conformational state, substrate selection, and ubiquitin transfer activity, so detection near this site is useful for studies of receptor endocytosis, signal termination, and oncogenic transformation.

Supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. The unconjugated preparation is compatible with standard secondary detection chemistries. Validated for western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human, mouse, and rat samples.
