The Antibodies.com Anti-CBFA2T2 Antibody [KT42] is a rat monoclonal IgG2c reagent raised against mouse CBFA2T2, also known as MTGR1 (myeloid translocation gene-related protein 1), a transcriptional co-repressor in the ETO/RUNX complex family that regulates hematopoiesis, intestinal epithelial differentiation, and Notch signaling. This unconjugated antibody is supplied as 100 µg of liquid in a vial and is validated for Western blot and immunoprecipitation on mouse samples, making it useful for studying MTGR1 protein–protein interactions, RUNX1 transcriptional complexes, and chromatin regulatory mechanisms in leukemogenesis research. The KT42 clone detects the endogenous ~67 kDa CBFA2T2 polypeptide and has been used in studies of AML translocation partners, gut lineage commitment, and Notch-driven differentiation pathways. For optimal stability, aliquot the antibody and store at -20 °C; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity. Researchers investigating ETO family co-repressors, RUNX1-ETO chimeric oncoproteins, or MTGR1-dependent transcriptional programs will find this clone a reliable tool for co-immunoprecipitation of CBFA2T2-containing complexes and Western blot detection in murine hematopoietic and epithelial model systems.
