Anti-CAV1 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com as part of the Primary Antibodies range, targets Caveolin 1 (CAV1) in human samples and is validated for immunocytochemistry and immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications. The unconjugated reagent is produced in rabbit and purified by affinity chromatography, then formulated as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–100 of human Caveolin-1 (NP_001744.2). For ICC/IF, a recommended dilution range of 1:50–1:200 is suggested, and the reagent is supported by 1 scientific validation image. The antibody concentration is lot specific, and the material is shipped at 4°C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
