This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets Catenin-delta-1, also known as p120-catenin, an armadillo-repeat protein that localizes to adherens junctions, stabilizes the cytoplasmic domain of classical cadherins, and modulates Rho GTPase activity at the cell membrane. The unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows, with reactivity confirmed against human samples.

Catenin-delta-1 (CTNND1) is phosphorylated on multiple tyrosine and serine residues by Src-family kinases and other signaling inputs, and altered expression or isoform switching of p120-catenin has been documented across epithelial and mesenchymal cancers, supporting its use as a marker in studies of E-cadherin turnover, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, and tumor invasion. The polyclonal format enables recognition of multiple epitopes, which is helpful when probing truncated isoforms or post-translationally modified forms of the protein.

Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated rabbit antiserum, the reagent can be paired with HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies for downstream detection. It is intended for research use only. For long-term use, store refrigerated, aliquot the stock to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light to preserve antibody activity.
