Anti-Catenin-β Antibody

This affinity-purified polyclonal reagent, offered through Antibodies.com, is raised in rabbit against Catenin-β (β-catenin / CTNNB1) and is supplied as a 50 µl liquid at a concentration of 1 mg/ml. The unconjugated IgG antibody has been validated for Western Blot, IHC, IF and ELISA applications and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, detecting endogenous levels of Catenin-β. It was generated against a synthetic peptide derived from the human Catenin-β sequence around the non-phosphorylation site of Y654, and is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen. The product is formulated in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative, and is recommended to be stored at –20 °C for up to one year. Suitable goat anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibodies (AP, biotin, FITC and HRP conjugates) are available from the same supplier to support downstream detection.
