Raised against Catenin-β (CTNNB1), a dual-function ~92 kDa protein central to canonical Wnt signal transduction and E-cadherin–mediated cell–cell adhesion, this unconjugated mouse monoclonal reagent from Antibodies.com enables detection by Western blot and immunohistochemistry in human, mouse, and rat samples.
The antibody is supplied as a 50 µl vial and pairs with standard anti-mouse IgG secondary reagents for chromogenic or fluorescent readout. Practical uses include resolving endogenous β-catenin pools in whole-cell lysates, characterising expression in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, and profiling junctional versus nuclear localisation in cultured cell monolayers through differential extraction.
Aliquot on receipt to limit freeze-thaw cycles and refrigerate between uses. Intended for research use only; not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
