Anti-Catenin-β Antibody

Mouse monoclonal antibody raised against beta-catenin, supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated IgG1 in a 50 µl liquid vial. Beta-catenin is a multifunctional protein that serves as a structural component of the E-cadherin/catenin adhesion complex at the plasma membrane and as a transcriptional co-activator in the canonical Wnt signaling pathway, making it a focal target in studies of cell adhesion, developmental biology, and oncology research where aberrant Wnt signaling contributes to tumor initiation in colorectal and other cancers.

This unconjugated reagent is validated for western blot, immunocytochemistry, and flow cytometry on human, mouse, and rat samples. The antibody is supplied in TBS (pH 7.4) with 1% BSA and 40% glycerol, preserved with 0.05% sodium azide, and should be stored refrigerated with appropriate aliquoting to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the glycerol stock. The mouse IgG1 isotype allows flexible secondary antibody selection across WB, ICC, and FC workflows, supporting both signaling pathway analyses and subcellular localization studies.
