Beta-catenin is a multifunctional protein best known for its dual role as a transcriptional co-activator in the canonical Wnt signaling cascade and as a structural component of the E-cadherin–catenin adherens junction complex at the plasma membrane. This unconjugated monoclonal reagent from Antibodies.com binds the native target and supports detection across western blot, immunocytochemistry, and flow cytometry workflows in human, mouse, and rat samples.
Supplied as 100 µl of mouse IgG1 in TBS buffer at pH 7.4, with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative, the antibody should be stored refrigerated to preserve activity across multiple experiments. Investigators commonly apply it to longitudinal studies of Wnt-driven differentiation, colorectal and hepatocellular carcinoma signaling, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, and developmental biology, where endogenous beta-catenin localization, phosphorylation state, and complex partners are being characterized in adherens junctions.
