Anti-Catenin-β Antibody

A primary antibody from Antibodies.com raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent targeting Catenin-β phosphorylated at Ser33/Ser37/Thr41. The antibody is unconjugated and validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human, mouse and rat samples. It was generated against a phospho-specific peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Serine 33 and 37 and threonine 41 of human Catenin-β, and specifically detects endogenous levels of beta-catenin only when phosphorylated at Ser33/S37/T41.

The reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, and purity is reported as >95% by SDS-PAGE. The target protein has a molecular weight of ~92 kDa.
