Anti-Catenin-α1 Antibody

Manufactured under the Antibodies.com catalogue and originally produced by Bioworld Technology (reference BS6976), this Rabbit polyclonal reagent targets Catenin-α1, a catenin family protein also known as α-E-catenin or CTNNA1, and detects endogenous levels of the antigen across Human, Mouse and Rat samples. Supplied as 50 µl of unconjugated antiserum at approximately 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the antibody is affinity-purified by epitope-specific chromatography to a purity greater than 95% as judged by SDS-PAGE. It is validated for Western blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Flow cytometry, with the manufacturer reporting a relevant band at roughly 100–120 kDa, consistent with the native molecular weight of Catenin-α1.
