Anti-CASQ2 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the human Calsequestrin 2 (CASQ2) protein, this polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation in a 200 µL volume. CASQ2 is the major calcium-binding protein of the cardiac sarcoplasmic reticulum, where it buffers luminal Ca²⁺ and shapes the kinetics of calcium release through ryanodine receptor 2 (RyR2) during excitation–contraction coupling. Loss-of-function variants in CASQ2 are a well-characterized cause of catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT), making reliable immunological detection of the protein a routine tool in cardiovascular research laboratories.

Validated for Western blot (WB) workflows on human samples, the reagent is provided as a ready-to-titer liquid and is shipped refrigerated to preserve antibody activity.
