Anti-Caspase-9 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope-specific chromatography, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets endogenous Caspase-9 across human, mouse and rat samples. It is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, at a working concentration of 1 mg/ml, and is provided unconjugated in IgG form. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide derived from human Caspase-9 around the non-phosphorylation site of T125, allowing reliable detection of full-length CASP-9 as well as related isoforms such as APAF-3, ICE-LAP6, MCH6 and CASP9. Validated applications include Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and ELISA, making it a versatile choice for apoptosis and intrinsic pathway studies. The antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon arrival, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
