Anti-Caspase-7 p20 (D198) Antibody

The antibody is unconjugated and validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, with confirmed reactivity against Human, Mouse and Rat samples. According to the manufacturer, the immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 180–230 of Human Caspase 7. The antibody detects endogenous levels of the large fragment of caspase-7 resulting from cleavage at Asp198, and does not cross-react with full length caspase-7 or with other caspases. The reported molecular weight of the detected fragment is ~20 kDa.

The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% Glycerol. It has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with a reported purity of >95% by SDS-PAGE.
