Anti-Caspase-7 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets Caspase-7, a key executioner protease in the apoptotic cascade, and is supplied as a 50 µL liquid formulation at a concentration of 1 mg/mL. The reagent is unconjugated and has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, namely a synthesized peptide derived from the N-terminal region of human Caspase-7. It is validated for ELISA, Western blot (WB), and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, and is reactive with human samples, making it well suited for studies of programmed cell death in human cell and tissue models. The product is provided in a PBS buffer containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative. For shipping and storage, the vial is dispatched at 4 °C and, upon receipt, should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve antibody activity.
