Anti-Caspase-6 (phospho-S257) Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against Caspase-6 when phosphorylated at Serine 257. The unconjugated reagent is offered in a polyclonal format and is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum.

The antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and has been verified to react with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. According to its specificity profile, it detects endogenous levels of Caspase-6 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser257, with the immunogen being a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Caspase-6 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 257. It is formulated at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2. The target protein runs at approximately 35 kDa, and the antibody purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE following affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen.
