Description
This Rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets Caspase-6 p18. It is unconjugated and validated for WB and IHC applications, with reactivity against mouse and rat samples.
The antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 141-190 of Human Caspase-6. It detects endogenous levels of the large subunit of active caspase-6 resulting from cleavage at Asp162 in mouse and rat, at ~18 kDa, and does not recognize other cleaved caspases. Observed molecular weight is ~18, 35 kDa.
The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% Glycerol. Purity is > 95% by SDS-PAGE, following affinity-purification from rabbit antiserum using epitope-specific immunogen.
