Anti-Caspase-3 p17 (D175) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com directed against the Caspase-3 p17 fragment. It is unconjugated, validated for Western blot (WB), and reactive with human, mouse and rat samples.

According to the manufacturer, the antibody detects endogenous levels of the large fragment (~17 kDa) of activated caspase-3 generated by cleavage adjacent to Asp175, and does not recognise full-length caspase-3 or other cleaved caspases. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide conjugated to KLH derived from within residues 150–200 of human active Caspase 3.

The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% glycerol. It is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of >95% by SDS-PAGE.
