Anti-Caspase 3 (D146) Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 120–170 of human Caspase 3 and is intended to detect endogenous levels of the Caspase 3 protein (D146 epitope). It is unconjugated and validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications, with reactivity confirmed against Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. The reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, achieving a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The target protein migrates at approximately 35 kDa, and the antibody has been cited in published work examining Tbx20-mediated regulation of autophagy in aged cardiac tissue and in the H9c2 cardiomyoblast cell line.
