Anti-Caspase 10 Antibody

Caspase 10 is a key initiator caspase of the extrinsic apoptosis pathway, recruited to death-inducing signaling complexes (DISCs) assembled at Fas, TRAIL, and TNF-family receptors. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit and affinity-purified to detect both the full-length pro-caspase 10 zymogen and the cleaved subunits generated during apoptotic processing. The antibody is provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and it has been validated for Western blot applications on human, mouse, and rat samples. Investigators working on autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome (ALPS), in which germline CASP10 mutations are implicated, as well as those dissecting DISC assembly, NF-κB cross-talk, or chemotherapeutic response pathways, commonly apply this reagent to track activation-associated proteolysis. The unconjugated format permits flexible pairing with HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-labeled secondary reagents for chemiluminescent, fluorescent, or chromogenic readouts.
