The antibody is supplied as a 1 mg Protein A Purified Ig Fraction in liquid format, isotype IgG, unconjugated, and is intended for use as a primary antibody in ELISA-based detection and quantification protocols. According to the supplier datasheet, the polyclonal shows strong recognition of carisoprodol together with measurable cross-reactivity toward meprobamate, the principal metabolite, while no cross-reactivity has been reported against metoprolol or other psychotropic compounds frequently co-administered with carisoprodol.
