Offered by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against Carbonyl Reductase 1 (CBR1), a member of the short-chain dehydrogenase/reductase family also known as NADPH-dependent carbonyl reductase 1, prostaglandin-E(2) 9-reductase, or 15-hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase [NADP+]. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of the human protein, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of CBR1 in human samples. It is supplied as a 50 µL liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide, at a working concentration of 1 mg/mL, and is unconjugated for maximum flexibility in downstream detection. Validated applications include Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and ELISA, making the reagent suitable for both expression profiling and tissue-localization studies.
