Anti-CAPZA2 Antibody

Target the alpha-2 subunit of capping protein (CAPZA2) with this affinity-purified reagent from Antibodies.com, raised in rabbit and supplied as a polyclonal antibody at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. CAPZA2 caps the barbed ends of actin filaments and, together with the CAPZB beta subunit, regulates cytoskeletal dynamics underlying cell motility, morphological changes, and intracellular transport. The antibody is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows and detects the endogenous protein in human, mouse, and rat samples.

Each vial contains 100 µL of unconjugated antibody, allowing flexible in-house conjugation as well as direct use in chromogenic and fluorescence detection. The 50% glycerol formulation provides protection through freeze-thaw cycles when stored at -20 °C, making aliquoting practical for long-term studies of actin-regulatory mechanisms and CAPZA2 expression patterns across cell and tissue contexts.
