Anti-CAPN6 Antibody [Assigned #A3775]

This Mouse monoclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against CAPN6 (Calpain 6), a non-proteolytic, microtubule-stabilizing member of the calpain family that is highly expressed in placenta and embryonic tissues. Despite sharing the cysteine protease fold of classical calpains, CAPN6 lacks critical active-site residues and instead contributes to cytoskeletal remodeling, cell migration via Rac1/GEF-H1 signaling, and tumor biology contexts including uterine leiomyoma and osteosarcoma. The target runs at approximately 75 kDa in human cell and tissue lysates, consistent with the 641-residue CAPN6 polypeptide.
