Anti-CAPN3 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against CAPN3 (calpain-3, p94), this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is intended for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples. CAPN3 is a skeletal-muscle-enriched calcium-dependent cysteine protease whose loss-of-function mutations cause limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2A, so antibodies against it are commonly used by groups studying muscle proteostasis, sarcomere turnover, and neuromuscular disease models.

Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody at 1 mg/ml, supplied in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotective stabilizer. The host species is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal, and the conjugate is unconjugated, giving maximum flexibility for downstream labeling with HRP, fluorophore, or biotin of the user's choice.
