Anti-CAPN1 Antibody

Antibodies.com supplies a rabbit polyclonal primary antibody raised against CAPN1, the gene encoding Calpain 1. The unconjugated IgG reagent is validated for western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) workflows, and it cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein spanning amino acids 355–530 of human Calpain 1 (NP_005177.2), and the antibody recognises the endogenous target with a reported molecular weight of 75–80 kDa. It is provided as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, and has been affinity-purified.

Suggested working dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for WB, 1:50–1:200 for IHC, and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The product ships at 4 °C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
