Produced by Antibodies.com, this Protein A–purified monoclonal reagent is supplied as a 1 mg liquid at 1 mg/mL in Phosphate Buffered Saline and is designed for the selective detection of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and related cannabinoid metabolites. The antibody is a mouse IgG1 monoclonal of the THC3 clone, raised to recognise the psychoactive cannabinoid found in Cannabis sativa, and is provided in an unconjugated format suitable for direct incorporation into ELISA and immunoassay (IA) workflows used in forensic, toxicological and life-science research settings. The reagent shows broad reactivity and is intended to capture THC together with its principal metabolites, while not cross-reacting with opiates, benzoylecgonine (cocaine metabolite), amphetamines, phencyclidine or cannabidiol, which supports its use as a specific capture or detection reagent in THC screening assays. Supplied at 1 mg per vial with a stated concentration of 1 mg/mL, the product is shipped at ambient temperature; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C for long-term use, with short-term storage (up to four weeks) permitted at +4 °C while avoiding repeated freeze–thaw cycles. Researchers working on cannabinoid receptor pharmacology, drug-of-abuse testing panels, lateral-flow assay development or characterisation of Cannabis-derived samples can rely on this Antibodies.com monoclonal as a validated, isotype-defined primary antibody (Mouse IgG1, monoclonal, unconjugated) with documented specificity for the THC analyte.
