Manufactured by Antibodies.com and supplied through AFMS in Riyadh, this primary antibody is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against Campylobacter jejuni, intended for research use only. It is supplied as a purified Ig fraction in liquid form at a volume of 500 µl, with the antibody presented unconjugated and buffered in 10 mM Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.2) containing 0.1% sodium azide as preservative. The host species is rabbit and the clonality is polyclonal, yielding an IgG isotype preparation that recognises Campylobacter jejuni whole cells; the reagent has not been cross-adsorbed and may cross-react with related microorganisms. Validated applications include ELISA, IFA (immunofluorescence assay) and Western blot (WB), making it suitable for detection of bacterial antigen across immunological and biochemical workflows. Reactivity is reported against Campylobacter jejuni, a Gram-negative microaerophilic bacterium that is a leading cause of bacterial foodborne illness. For optimal stability, the antibody should be stored short term at 2–8 °C; for long-term storage it should be kept at –20 °C in aliquots, with repeated freeze-thaw cycles avoided. Each vial is supplied as a liquid polyclonal antibody preparation, with the working dilution to be determined empirically by the end user for the chosen application.
