Cathelicidin antimicrobial peptide (CAMP, also referred to as LL-37, hCAP18, or FALL-39) is a central effector of innate immunity, secreted as an 18 kDa precursor by neutrophils, keratinocytes, and mucosal epithelial cells before being cleaved into the membrane-active LL-37 peptide that disrupts bacterial lipids and modulates host chemokine signaling. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com supports those studies by detecting the endogenous human protein in Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows.

Researchers apply this antibody to investigate vitamin D-driven induction of CAMP, neutrophil extracellular trap biology, and the peptide's roles in chronic inflammatory conditions such as psoriasis, rosacea, atopic dermatitis, and inflammatory bowel disease, as well as emerging interests in wound healing and tumor microenvironment signaling.

The reagent is supplied as 100 µl of affinity-purified IgG from rabbit host, with confirmed reactivity against human CAMP. Aliquot upon arrival, store refrigerated, and limit freeze-thaw cycles to preserve lot-to-lot consistency in downstream blotting and staining protocols.
