Anti-CaMKIIα (phospho-T286) Antibody

The antibody is supplied as 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. Its immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human CaMKIIα around the phosphorylation site of Threonine 286, and the reagent specifically detects endogenous levels of CaMK2-α protein only when phosphorylated at Thr286. The corresponding target protein has a molecular weight of approximately 54 kDa. The reagent is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
