Anti-CaMKIIα (K292) Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and recognises CaMKIIα (also referred to as CaMK2-α). It is unconjugated and validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, reacting with human, mouse and rat samples.

The antibody was generated against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 260–310 of human CaMKIIα and detects endogenous levels of CaMK2-α protein. It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

The target has a molecular weight of approximately 54 kDa. The reagent was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
