Anti-CaMKIIα/δ (phospho-T286) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets CaMKIIα/δ when phosphorylated at threonine 286. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF) applications. It reacts with human, mouse and rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human CaMKIIα around the phosphorylation site of threonine 286, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous CaMKIIα/δ protein only when phosphorylated at Thr286. The reagent was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, yielding a purity of >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The reported molecular weight of the target is approximately 54 kDa.
