Anti-Calnexin (phospho-S583) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against Calnexin when phosphorylated at Serine 583 is offered by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated primary antibody. It has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Calnexin around the phosphorylation site of Serine 583. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of Calnexin protein only when phosphorylated at Ser583, and was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The target protein migrates at approximately 90 kDa. The reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.
