A rabbit polyclonal antibody to Calnexin (D577), supplied unconjugated by Antibodies.com, is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) applications. The antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 540-590 of human Calnexin, and the antibody detects endogenous levels of Calnexin protein. The Calnexin target has a molecular weight of approximately 90 kDa.
The product is formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. It is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
