Anti-Caldesmon Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody targets Caldesmon (CALD1), a developmentally regulated cytoskeletal protein involved in smooth muscle and non-muscle contraction that is recognised as a high molecular weight (~150 kDa) variant in Western blots. Supplied as a 50 µL liquid, it is an unconjugated IgG monoclonal of the CALD1/7024R clone, raised in rabbit and purified by Protein A/G chromatography. The buffer formulation is 1× TBS (pH 7.4) with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative, and the antibody is shipped at 4 °C for long-term storage at –20 °C in small aliquots to avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
