Anti-Calcitonin (I78) Antibody

A primary antibody from Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against Calcitonin (I78) and is validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. It was generated against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 151-200 of human Calcitonin and detects endogenous levels of the Calcitonin protein. The antibody has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of approximately 16 kDa.
