Anti-CALCB Antibody

The Antibodies.com Anti-CALCB polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation at a 50 µL pack volume. CALCB encodes calcitonin gene-related peptide 2 (CGRP2), a 37-amino-acid neuropeptide of the calcitonin/CGRP family expressed in central and peripheral nervous system tissue, including sensory and trigeminal ganglion neurons.

This polyclonal reagent has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting studies of CGRP signalling, trigeminal sensory transmission, and migraine-related neurobiology. It is suitable for cardiovascular and neuroscience research programs examining vasodilatory peptides, including comparative work on the CALCA- and CALCB-encoded CGRP ligands that signal through CLR/RAMP1 receptor complexes.

For routine handling, aliquot on first use and store frozen at -20 °C; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity.
