Anti-CALCA Antibody

Affinity-purified polyclonal reagent supplied by Antibodies.com, raised in rabbit against CGRP-1 (CALCA). The unconjugated IgG antibody is validated for Western blot and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence applications and reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples. It is provided as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and was generated against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 49-128 of human CGRP (NP_001029125.1), with the target migrating at 14 kDa.

Recommended working dilutions are 1:500-1:1,000 for Western blot and 1:50-1:200 for ICC/IF. The product is shipped at 4°C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided. Four scientific validation images support the reagent, including a Western blot performed on mouse brain lysate and immunofluorescence on C6, L929 and U2OS cell lines at a 1:100 dilution.
