Anti-Cadherin-16 Antibody

Offered through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal immunoglobulin preparation raised against a synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human Cadherin-16, also known by the synonyms CDH16, kidney-specific cadherin, and Ksp-cadherin. The unconjugated antiserum is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide, at a working concentration of 1 mg/mL. It is validated for western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and ELISA, and it specifically detects endogenous levels of Cadherin-16 in human samples. The antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon receipt and stored at –20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Intended for research use only and not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications, this reagent provides reliable detection of the cadherin family member expressed predominantly in renal epithelium, making it well suited for studies of kidney cell adhesion and tissue organization.
