Anti-CACNB4 Antibody

The CACNB4 primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent targeting the voltage-dependent calcium channel auxiliary subunit beta 4. Raised in rabbit hosts and prepared as an unconjugated IgG preparation, the antibody is supplied in a 50 µl vial and validated for Western blot detection of the CACNB4 protein in human, mouse, and rat samples.

CACNB4 modulates the gating and trafficking of P/Q-type and N-type voltage-gated calcium channels and is highly expressed in neuronal tissue, including the cerebellum and hippocampus. This reagent supports research into synaptic transmission, ion channel regulation, and neurological disease models such as episodic ataxia, where CACNB4 mutations have been characterized.
