Anti-CACNA2D2 Antibody

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 20–200 of human CACNA2D2 (NP_001167522.1). The antibody is affinity purified and recognises a target with a molecular weight of 140–160 kDa. Recommended Western blot dilution is 1:200–1:2,000. Concentration is lot specific.

The product is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. It is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. The CACNA2D2 gene maps to chromosome 3 (coordinates 50362613–50504244) and is tissue-enriched in lung, with predicted intracellular and vesicle-associated localisation.
