CABIN1 (Calcineurin Binding Protein 1) is a large transcriptional corepressor that modulates calcineurin signaling and chromatin remodeling through interactions with histone deacetylases. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com, was raised against CABIN1 and validated for Western blot detection of the endogenous protein in human and rat samples.

The reagent is provided as a 1 mg/ml solution in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide, pH approximately 7.2, and ships as 100 µl per vial. Researchers commonly apply this reagent to investigate T-cell receptor signaling pathways, calcineurin-dependent transcriptional regulation, and the role of CABIN1 in immune cell activation and apoptosis.

The polyclonal format yields recognition of multiple epitopes on the roughly 240 kDa CABIN1 polypeptide, supporting clear signal in immunoblotting of whole-cell lysates. Aliquot upon receipt and store refrigerated to preserve functional activity across repeated freeze-thaw cycles; sodium azide in the buffer inhibits microbial contamination during handling.
