Anti-CA2 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com, raised against Carbonic anhydrase 2 (CA2). It is supplied unconjugated in liquid form as an IgG preparation, and reacts with human and mouse samples. The antibody is listed for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) applications.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1–250 of human Carbonic Anhydrase 2 / CA2 (NP_000058.1). The target protein has a molecular weight of 27 kDa. The antibody is affinity purified and formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. For Western blot, a recommended dilution range of 1:500–1:2,000 is indicated by the manufacturer.

The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided.
