Rabbit IgG polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com recognizes Carbonic Anhydrase XIV (CA14), a membrane-associated zinc metalloenzyme that catalyzes the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. The unconjugated antibody is raised in rabbit and validated for Western Blot detection of human and mouse CA14. Each vial contains 200 µL of antibody solution, typically sufficient for multiple western blot experiments depending on dilution. CA14 is expressed in the central nervous system, renal epithelium, liver, and certain tumor contexts, making it a useful marker for studies of pH regulation, metabolic signaling, and carbonic anhydrase biology. The polyclonal format provides multi-epitope recognition, which can improve signal robustness in applications with limited target abundance. Store refrigerated and aliquot upon arrival to minimize freeze-thaw cycles if the reagent will be used over an extended period.
