Anti-CA1 Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets carbonic anhydrase 1 (CA1) and is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot of unconjugated antibody at 1.0 mg/mL. The antibody is a polyclonal IgG raised in rabbit, affinity-purified from antiserum by epitope-specific immunogen affinity chromatography, and was generated against a synthetic peptide derived from an internal region of human CA1. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows, and is reactive with human samples, where it detects endogenous levels of total CA1 protein. The conjugate is unconjugated, allowing flexible downstream labelling, and the buffer formulation is phosphate-buffered saline without Mg²⁺ or Ca²⁺ at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide as preservative, and 50% glycerol for routine handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt, the contents should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity.
