Anti-CA1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent, this unconjugated primary antibody recognizes carbonic anhydrase 1 (CA1), a ~29 kDa zinc metalloenzyme that catalyzes the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide and contributes to erythrocyte CO2 transport, systemic acid-base balance, and ion exchange across many epithelia. The IgG fraction is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant, delivered as a 100 µl aliquot in a single vial.
