Anti-CA II Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets Carbonic Anhydrase II (CA II), a zinc metalloenzyme that catalyzes the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide and is among the most catalytically active members of the carbonic anhydrase family. CA II is broadly expressed in mammalian tissues, including erythrocytes, renal tubular epithelium, glial cells, and osteoclasts, and it is widely used as a marker in studies of renal acid-base handling, erythrocyte ion transport, glial biology, and bone resorption.
