Anti-CA 125 Antibody [7]

A mouse monoclonal IgG2a reagent from Antibodies.com, clone 7 recognises a conformational epitope on human MUC16 (CA 125), the membrane-bound mucin-type glycoprotein most widely used as a serum biomarker for epithelial ovarian carcinoma and several other epithelial malignancies. The unconjugated antibody has been validated for flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and ELISA workflows on human cell lines and patient-derived samples, supporting ovarian cancer biomarker discovery, mucin biology studies, and characterisation of CA 125-expressing tumour populations.

Each vial contains 100 µg of lyophilised antibody powder. Reconstitute with sterile distilled water or PBS to the working concentration required by your assay, then aliquot into single-use portions to limit freeze-thaw cycles. Keep the lyophilised material refrigerated and protected from light until first use; once reconstituted, store working aliquots frozen for long-term stability. The reagent is reactive with human tissue and cells and is intended for research use only.
